God Rich
Pastor Jeff Manion concludes our True Wealth series by exploring Jesus's teachings on generosity through several powerful stories. We discover that loving God and loving others fundamentally shapes how we view and use our wealth. Through Jesus's interactions with supporters of his ministry, we learn that generosity isn't just a response to spiritual maturity—it's a pathway to transformation. We're challenged to move beyond simply managing money wisely to using our resources for God's glory and others' benefit. The message invites us to start giving now rather than later, responding to God's generosity and allowing our hearts to be shaped through regular, intentional giving.
Fear and Trust
Pastor Jeff Manion continues our True Wealth sermon series by exploring how we can move from anxiety to trust. We examine Jesus's teaching where he addresses our deep fears by pointing to God's generous care in creation. Through birds of the air and flowers of the field, Jesus reveals the Father's faithful provision. We're challenged to combat anxiety not by fixating on "what-ifs," but by focusing on God's character, bringing our needs to him in prayer, and practicing gratitude. This message equips us with practical ways to experience God's peace in uncertain times.
The Contented Heart
Pastor Jeff Manion continues our True Wealth series by exploring the transformative power of contentment. We discover that true wealth isn't measured by our financial status, but by cultivating a satisfied heart that finds joy and peace regardless of circumstances. Through practical insights about margin, comparison, and relative simplicity, we learn how contentment enables both financial wisdom and spiritual growth. We're challenged to examine our relationship with money and possessions, recognizing that Jesus offers the security and value we often mistakenly seek through wealth.

Question 5: God’s Key Attributes
In this profound self-revelation, God declares his transcendent nature, highlighting the vast difference between his attributes and human capabilities. The metaphor of heaven's height above earth illustrates how far God’s wisdom and power extend beyond human understanding. This passage shows the otherness of God. He is uncreated, eternal, independent and infinite—while everything else is created, time-bound and finite. Yet this same God, who is beyond full comprehension, chooses to make himself known. His attributes of omniscience (all-knowing), omnipotence (all-powerful) and omnipresence (present everywhere) are perfectly balanced with his justice and love, demonstrating that God's supreme power is always exercised in harmony with his perfect character.

True Wealth
During the last four weeks, we’ve considered what it means to allow the Holy Spirit to change our hearts about wealth. We’ve seen what it means to shift from a dark heart to a heart that is shaped by the cross. A dark heart is marked by pride, covetousness, anxiety and indifference. A heart transformed by the cross is marked by gratitude, contentment, trust and generosity. As we’ve seen, these characteristics are opposites of each other. A cross-shaped heart changes pride to gratitude, covetousness to contentment, anxiety to trust and indifference to generosity. No matter where we are on the journey from a dark heart to a transformed heart, Jesus meets us there and invites us to become more like him.

Heart Work
In this section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus ties the location of someone’s heart to how they spend their wealth. He knows that the accumulation of wealth for its own sake is deceptive because one can find an inaccurate assessment of one’s spirituality in wealth. If they spend their wealth on themselves, they are likely self-centered or indifferent to the needs of those around them. If someone is generous with their money, they are likely to care about those around them. Jesus teaches that a person’s heart tends to follow their money.
