More in this Series

  • Week 1

    The Questionable Life

    The New Community

Pastor Jeff Manion introduces us to the questionable life. Through this conversation, we see that our life should cause people to see Jesus through us. We are challenged to focus on one thing from the list of oneness, sympathy, brotherly love, compassion or humility.

  • Week 2

    The Questionable Life

    Blessings and Cursing

Pastor Jeff Manion walks us through Peter’s instructions about not repaying evil for evil. Through this conversation, we see that Christians should respond to insult or meanness in a way that is extremely different than the world. We are challenged to desire the well-being of those who hurt us instead of the undoing.

  • Week 4

    The Questionable Life

    Questionable Sexuality

Pastor Aaron Buer unpacks biblical sexuality. Through this conversation, we see God has called Jesus followers to counter-cultural sexuality. We are challenged to surrender our desires to God and to have a loving posture toward those around us with different desires than our own.

  • Week 5

    The Questionable Life

    A Questionable Life and Authority

Pastor Aaron Buer teaches Peter’s instructions for honoring and respecting authority. Through this conversation, we are challenged to submit to, respect and honor those in authority in our government, at work and in our family. We are reminded that our honor for God guides how we respect and honor those in authority, including those we may not agree with.

Spaces

Where does God meet us? Throughout Scripture, he meets his people in real places—mountains, deserts, seas, and the temple. Each place teaches us something about who he is. Join us for The Places Where God Meets Us, a six-week series exploring how these spaces point forward to Jesus, the one who meets us still.
