Guest Speaker, Pastor John Dickson, shares reasons we have to trust the Bible. Through this conversation, we are reminded that trusting the Bible isn’t just a matter of intellect. Rather, we need to get to know the Bible like a friend. We also learn how the texts that comprise our Bible were selected and how they’ve been accurately preserved. We also discover how close in time they were written to actual events and that Scripture wasn’t written from a place of power or to manipulate. We find that Scripture is both solid and soft.

Pastor Aaron Buer discusses the violence in the Old Testament. Through this conversation, we see that the God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament, both gracious and just. We are challenged extend the grace of God to the people around us, while also trusting in God’s justice.

Your Past, Present, and Future Rescue The word "saved" gets used a lot in church. But what does it really mean to be saved? In this series, we look at how salvation works. It's not just something that happened to us in the past. It's something God is doing in us right now, and something he will finish one day. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
