Housekeeping / Cleaning - Seasonal/Temporary


The Seasonal Housekeeper will be an integral part of a dedicated and highly skilled team responsible for providing outstanding customized service to our clients. The individual in this role will be responsible for providing cleaning and interior maintenance of a private estate, as well as assisting with exemplary hospitality service.





·        Dust all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and baseboards.


·        Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout homes.


·        Mop hard floors, paying attention to high-traffic areas.


·        Clean and sanitize kitchen countertops, sinks, and appliances.


·        Wipe down exterior of kitchen cabinets and appliances.


·        Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.


·        Replace towels and refill toiletries as needed.


·        Empty trash bins and replace liners.


·        Clean mirror and glass surfaces.


·        Dust and wipe down light fixtures and ceiling fans.


·        Make beds and change linens.


·        Tidy up common areas and straighten up any clutter.


·        Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away linens/towels.


·        Prepare homes for guests by ensuring all areas are clean and welcoming.


·        Report any maintenance issues in homes.


·        Maintain personal care products and cleaning supplies at an optimal level.


       Ensure that all household spaces are maintained to the highest cleanliness levels and that all housekeeping tasks are performed as requested.


       Efficiently communicate with other staff; attentively listen, ask questions, work well with others, and demonstrate a desire to be part of a team.


       Assist with other duties as assigned and in the absence of other staff.





       Previous housekeeping experience.


       Experience caring and cleaning luxury homes, hotels, inns, etc. is preferred.


       Must have a strong knowledge of cleaning products.


       Training in and/or an eye for aesthetics is important.


       Must be detail oriented.


       Full flexibility in schedule to meet requirements/needs which includes day shifts; evening shifts; weekends and holiday shifts.


       Valid driver’s license required.


       Ability to travel and work at summer homes, located in Holland, MI.


       Must be responsible, dedicated, and dependable.


       Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service with a professional, tactful demeanor.


       Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality and to privacy in all aspects.






·               Ability to work at a physically demanding pace.


·               Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds to a maximum height of six (6) feet.


·               Ability to remain standing for lengthy periods of time; climb steps and stairs; stoop, bend, and kneel.


·              Ability to stand on small step stool to accomplish cleaning tasks.


·               Ability to push/pull vacuum cleaner and operate household maintenance equipment for lengthy periods of time.
