Ministries

Ada Bible is made up of people who are on a journey to become more like the Christ.

We offer a host of ministries:

  • to help you feel like you are part of something larger without getting lost in the crowds;
  • for all different ages, stages of life and spiritual needs; and
  • to help you connect to God, to his church and to others.

Each ministry provides a unique opportunity to make a large church feel small.

Ministries FAQ

Here are a few questions we are frequently asked about ministries at Ada Bible.

Don’t see your question? Send us an email.

  • How do I join a group?

We’re excited you are ready to take a NEXT STEP by joining a small group.

Each Fall and Winter. Our men’s, women’s and young adult’s ministries launch new small groups; however, you can still join later in the year. Dates and sign-up information will be available through our various connections (digital bulletin, online & social media). See your campus ministry coordinators if you are interested in signing up after group launch.

Group Launch. Join a new small group that meets online, in a home, or in a coffee shop at one of our twice-yearly events called Group Launch. Watch our various connections (digital bulletin, online & social media) for the dates to sign up.

Send us an email if you have further questions.

  • What do you have for my children and students?

Discovery Village Children’s Ministry serves children from birth through grade 5 each weekend and at each campus. Find more information about Children’s Ministry here. Save some time on Sunday and register your child here before your first visit.

We have Student Ministries for grades 6–12 called Lifeline that meets on Sundays (high school) and Wednesdays (middle school) September–May. We invite those students to join their parents during worship each weekend. Click here to connect to Lifeline. North Satellite students meet at Knapp Street Campus. West Satellite students meet at Kentwood Campus.

  • What happens when I sign up to volunteer?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. (1) You will need to fill out a volunteer interest form. (2) Someone from our staff will reach out to get to know you better and hear more about where you want to serve. We will also share our vision about the importance of serving at Ada Bible. (3) We will move forward in finding you the right place to volunteer.

  • What style of worship music can I expect?

With a blend of modern worship, originals and hymns, we celebrate, sing and express a heart of gratitude to a loving God who desires to meet with us. Song lyrics are on the screen and everyone is welcome to engage with God through times of prayer, singing and scripture. Every campus has a live worship team and all of the services will have the same songs.
