Why Serve?

You will hear us talk a lot about serving. We want Ada Bible to be a place that is warm and welcome for anyone to attend. That means we must rely on thousands of volunteers each week that give their time and talents to serve others.

Many Opportunities

We have opportunities for those looking to start serving for the first time or those who are looking to serve even more. From helping children learn about Jesus to running a camera in our main auditorium—there is a place for you to serve at Ada Bible!

Ready To Find Your Place?

Look through our Current Opportunities and fill out an interest form. Someone will reach out to you to start a conversation about serving and answer any questions. If you can’t find an opportunity that is of interest, fill out a volunteer interest form. Click here if you were asked to fill out a volunteer application.

Serving FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions about Serving.

Still have a question? Send us an email.

  • What happens when I sign up to volunteer?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. (1) You will need to fill out a volunteer interest form. (2) Someone from our staff will reach out to meet with you over coffee or dessert to get to know you better and hear more about where you want to serve. We will also share our vision about the importance of serving at Ada Bible. (3) We will move forward in finding you the right place to volunteer.

  • How often will I serve?

Volunteers are vital to helping Ada Bible run smoothly in our ministries and at events. You can work with each ministry team to serve as often as you like. We encourage anyone interested in volunteering to consider serving at least once a month.

  • I signed up to serve but it’s not the right fit. Can you help me?

We never want someone to stick with a serving opportunity that doesn’t seem like the right fit. We have many other opportunities where you can serve. Speak to your volunteer leader or email us so we can talk about it and find a spot to better fit your time and/or skills.
