UNION

Young adults and professionals connecting
and discovering Jesus as they navigate life.

Tuesday Nights

UNION is our young adult ministry where you connect with other men and women to help each other live out the fullest expressions of faith, discover community, pursue Christ and love the world well. We meet Tuesdays at 6:30 pm or 8 pm at the B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.

Life in your 20s is full of surprising transitions and tough decisions. UNION is a place to connect with others so you don’t have to do life alone. Where you can encourage each other toward further steps of faith in the midst of change, wisdom in making decisions and serving the world around us.

It doesn’t matter if you’re in college, out of college, in your career, single, married, dating or engaged. UNION is for all young adults.

Subscribe to our UNION email list to stay up-to-date with other gatherings.

Join a UNION Small Group

UNION Small Groups consist of 8–12 young adults who join together outside of our Tuesday night gathering to get to know each other better. Small groups help you nurture your relationship with God and others.

Each group will regularly and intentionally study, read and asks good questions of the Bible. In Small Groups, God will use others to continue the work that he has already begun in you.

Ways to Participate

Serve

UNION encourages you to regularly serve our church. By teaching and mentoring young people in our church, you can pass on a legacy of faith to future generations.

Men and women from UNION often volunteer in Discovery Village and LifeLine.

Missions

UNION encourages you to regularly serve our local community and the rest of the world.

Locally. We regularly engage in service opportunities around Grand Rapids. Sign up for a time to serve with others at our Tuesday night gatherings.

Globally. Join us on one or both trips each year to serve with Back2Back.org in Mazatlan Mexico. Registration information will be available by email and on Tuesday nights.

Additional adult missions opportunities are on our church missions page.

Union FAQ

Here are a few questions we are frequently asked about UNION.

Don’t see your question? Send us an email.

  • Where do I park for UNION? Do you pay for parking?

You will need to find a parking space downtown. Here are a few options. (1) Park at the Grand Valley State University lot on the west side of the Grand River on Fulton street. (2) Snag a street parking space (parking meter rate applies but free after 6pm). (3) Park in the parking ramp for the evening for about $4.

We are unable to help pay for parking. We encourage people to carpool when possible or try to grab a free parking spot.

  • Where does UNION meet?

UNION meets in downtown Grand Rapids at The B.O.B. on the third floor in Dr. Grins every Tuesday night at 6:30 and 8 pm.

UNION Small Groups meet at various times and locations.

  • What’s the difference between the 6:30 pm and 8 pm gatherings?

Both gatherings are identical. We schedule two time periods so that people can make it to UNION while having busy schedules.

  • I don’t go to Ada Bible. Can I still come to UNION?

Absolutely! While we would love for you to join us at Ada Bible, UNION is open to anyone 18 and over. Whether you attend a church or not—all are welcomed at UNION.

  • Is UNION a singles group?

No. Whether you’re single, engaged or married—UNION is for you.

  • How can I join a UNION Small Group?

You can join a UNION Small Group in one of two ways: (1) Sign up during our Group Launch event each September and January. (2) Fill out our registration form if you’d like to sign up at other times.
