What is Thrive?

Thrive is our Women’s Ministry. As women, God created us to connect with others for encouragement and challenge. Thrive helps women—of all ages and stages of life—pursue God, build relationships and flourish in Christ. Cultivate a deeper faith through small groups, monthly gatherings & special events. Small Groups are 3–12 women who help each other become more like Christ. Women thrive when they share God’s Word and open their lives to one another. Below are some opportunities for women’s small groups.

On-Campus Small Groups

Thrive Small Groups meet at our campuses September through early May. Dates and times vary by campus. Different study options are available too. Click here to find out more. A requested donation of $25 per semester helps cover the cost of the program. Scholarships are available upon request.  No one will be turned away due to an inability to pay. Find out more about Thrive Groups.

Women’s Community Groups

Other women’s small groups meet out in the greater Grand Rapids area. These groups choose their own studies, days, times, and locations to meet.   New Women’s Community Groups launch in September or February or you may join an existing group by using, Group Finder .

ABC Moms

If you have children ages 0-6 years old, join ABC Moms to grow in your faith, connect with other mothers, and be encouraged in your roles as wife, mom, sister and friend. Women from all campuses meet on the second, fourth, and fifth Tuesday of the month.  The ministry year runs from the end of September through the beginning of May. We request a donation of $69 per semester to support the program. Scholarships are available. We have a children’s program for birth to toddlers. Email ABC Moms with any questions.
