Women's Ministry

When we journey together, we Thrive.

What is Thrive?

Thrive is Ada Bible’s Women’s Ministry where all women come together to share life, pursue God and invest in others. Find your place for community with small groups at your campus, monthly gatherings at your campus and special all-campus events.

Each week at each campus, women connect with the same group of 8-12 women in small groups to study God’s word and build relationships. You can sign up for an on-campus group through Thrive events, service projects and social gatherings. Children’s Program is available during morning studies only.

A variety of Bible studies are offered at each campus. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey—we have an on-campus group for you.

THRIVE Short Term Groups

Respectfully Yours is a nine-week small group to help you thrive as a wife in marriage and relationships. This study unwraps what respect looks like and how God sees your identity as a woman. Learn to flourish through scripture, and gain practical ideas and biblical application. All women are invited to attend. Groups from all campuses will meet weekly at the East Paris Campus Thursday nights from 7-9 pm. You will meet your group and receive your book and reading schedule our first week on Thursday, September 16.

If you, or a woman you know, is walking through the trauma of a spouse’s sexual brokenness (including addiction to porn or unfaithfulness) we would love to invite you to our Restore Small Groups.

Let us journey with you to help you find a connection to God that allows you to begin to heal, build your own intimacy with God, understand your true identity as a child of God, and restore hope and healing to your relationship with your spouse. This is a ten-week study. Groups meet at the East Paris Campus Thursday nights from 7-9 PM beginning Thursday, September 16.

Under normal circumstances, we often come to a time we realize we need to process, heal and grow. Many of us have felt additional anxiety, trauma and grief this last year.

Join us for a new short-term small group where we learn professional and biblical tools for better mental health. Over several weeks, hear from some of our most trusted counselors around Grand Rapids. Learn together how to better process and work through issues like anxiety, grief, healthy communication, forgiveness, feelings and emotions, fears, burnout and so much more.

This group is for you if you want to learn tools to care for others better or need personal emotional, spiritual or mental health healing and restoration. Groups meets at the East Paris Campus Thursday nights from 7–9 PM starting September 16.
