Job Title: Lead Barista

Location: Base of Operations – 2221 Plainfield Ave NE, Suite 115, Grand Rapids, MI. Most events are offsite.
Job Type: Full-Time, $18-20 per hour

Job Overview: As a Lead Barista at Clique Coffee Catering, you will be leading events, ensuring the quality and consistency of the drinks we make, and helping guarantee 5-star customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Barista:
– Prepare, steam, and deliver excellent drinks (hot & iced) based on Clique’s recipes and menu.
Event Coordination:
– Collaborate with event organizers to understand specific requirements.
– Load up materials & equipment at the base of operations and drive to event location.
– Coordinate on-site setup and logistics for events – some as sole barista, others as part of a team.
Customer Service:
– Interact with clients and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
– Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations.
Quality Control &Inventory Management:
– Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the equipment used.
– Manage inventory of coffee beans, supplies, and equipment.
– Place orders for replenishment as needed.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years experience as a barista.
– Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
– Excellent customer service and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
– Leadership and team management skills.
– Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as required.
– Must be able to comfortably lift 70 pounds (espresso machine)
