Volunteer - Volunteer

Position title: Spanish-speaking intern

Position type: Volunteer 3 hours per week

Department: Client Services

Reports to: Client Services Associate

Basic Function of position: The Spanish-speaking intern will connect with Spanish-speaking clients to check in, offer support, and offer material resources.

Major Duties and Responsibilities


·        Builds intentional relationships with Spanish-speaking clients

·        Builds relationships with Client Services staff



·        Records all contacts with clients

·        Fills client orders for material resources

·        Enters data


Specific Tasks

·        Contact Spanish-speaking clients from the waiting list

·        Check in with them to see how they are doing and what needs they have

·        Connect them to community resources and referrals as appropriate

·        Take client orders for diapers, wipes and formula

·        Prepare orders and schedule client pick up

·        Enter visit notes into Waycool software

·        File visit notes papers in client files

·        Shop with Spanish-speaking clients in the store

·        Assist with other administrative tasks




·        Ability speak Spanish fluently

·        Organizational and administrative skills
