THREE THINGS TO KNOW
DON’T MISS THIS
Say Yes to Serve. We have a lot of open spots this summer on our various serving teams and in our community. Whether you can help out in Discovery Village (children’s ministry), welcome people at the door (hospitality) or find a place to serve in Grand Rapids—summer is a great time to try out serving. Have a conversation with your group about serving this summer. Visit adabible.info>serve to see needs.
This month we look at the group value of Care. Caring for each other is one way the church differs from the world. Have a conversation with your group about what you think it means to care for each other well.
GROW AS A LEADER
Summer is a change of pace for many of us. Take advantage of this and check out some of our leader training resources at learning.adabible.org/small-groups.
This is Week 5 of our new series, 10 QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED. This week we look at a breakfast Jesus has with his disciples.
Many groups adjust their group meetings for holiday weeks like this, so we’ve created a discussion guide for your group to have a meaningful conversation whether you are in a living room, around a campfire, sitting on a beach, at a coffee shop or on a pontoon.
Have someone from your group retell the story from John 21:1-17.
What parts of the story or the sermon resonated with you?
What does it mean that there’s room at God’s table for you?
How can we have a “fireside chat” to restore our relationship with God when we mess up?
What might God be recommissioning you to do?
Was there anything else from the sermon you’d like to discuss?
