ADA BIBLE ACADEMY CLASSES
At Ada Bible Church, it’s our desire that you are equipped to deepen your relationship with Christ. Ada Bible Academy is an opportunity for you to dig deeper into topics that will strengthen your faith and equip you to grow in Christlikeness. Each class is a four-week session on an important topic that provides practical ways to live out your faith every day.
This spring, Ada Bible Academy will feature two classes focused on studying the Bible effectively and sharing your faith with confidence. We invite you to join us starting Thursday, April 16, at our East Paris Campus for one of these classes taught by Ada Bible staff.

Bible Study Essentials
Sharing Your Faith with Confidence
April 16 – May 7, 2026 Thursdays | 7 – 8:30 PM | East Paris Campus
Ada Bible Academy classes allow for hands-on learning and are:
- 3-4 weeks in length
- Taught by a trained instructor
- Feature a large group teaching with discussion time
- Are open to all, ages 15+
COURSE 1: BIBLE STUDY ESSENTIALS
Understanding God’s Word is foundational to growing in your faith. But where do you start? How do you move from simply reading the Bible to truly studying it? This four-week course will equip you with practical tools to study Scripture confidently and apply it to your everyday life.
You’ll learn how to observe what the text says, interpret what it means and apply it to your life. We’ll explore different types of biblical literature, discover how to use study tools and resources, and practice methods that will transform your personal Bible study time. Whether you’re new to Bible study or looking to deepen your understanding, this class will give you a foundation for studying God’s Word for the rest of your life.

Pastor Ethan Cole
Ethan serves as the Men’s Ministry Pastor at the Bella Vista campus. He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin) and Cornerstone Seminary (MDiv) and serves as an adjunct instructor at multiple universities. Ethan is married to Katie, and they are doing their best to raise their three energetic boys to love Jesus. Ethan is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus through knowing and applying God’s Word.
Rachel Norton
Rachel currently serves as the Director of Women’s Ministry and has been on staff at Ada Bible Church for 8 years. She is married to John and recently had the thrill of welcoming 2 new loved ones to her family as both children got married. She loves helping people build relationships that are founded on God‘s Word and fueled by a shared passion to follow Jesus.
Course 2: SHARING YOUR FAITH WITH CONFIDENCE
You know Jesus has changed your life, but when it comes to sharing your faith with others, do you feel uncertain or anxious? This four-week course will equip you to share the gospel naturally and confidently in everyday conversations.
We’ll explore what the gospel is and why it matters, learn how to share your personal story of faith, practice starting spiritual conversations in everyday settings and discover how to listen well and answer common questions people have about Christianity. You’ll gain practical skills through teaching, group discussion and real-world practice. Whether you’ve never shared your faith before or want to grow in confidence, this class will prepare you to be a faithful witness wherever God has placed you.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS
Pastor Kevin Baker
Kevin serves as the campus pastor at the Knapp Street Campus and has been on staff at Ada Bible Church for 19 years. He is married to Kari, and they have two adult daughters. Kevin loves life’s journey with Jesus and seeing people meet him for the first time.
Jettie Hanegraaff
Jettie serves as the Campus Director at the West Satellite and has been on staff at Ada Bible Church in different roles for 8 years. She also writes for the Beyond the Weekend devotional. Jettie is a licensed therapist and cares deeply about the well-being of people, especially teenagers. She and her husband, Matt, have a daughter, Emma, and live near the lakeshore. Jettie is passionate about communication and connecting people to Jesus.
