What and Why We Teach
We use Brite Curriculum by Awana. Brite helps us dive deeper into God’s Word and grow in our understanding of who Jesus is. Brite is designed to be engaging, meaningful, and Bible-centered—giving kids not just fun activities, but real truth they can carry with them. It helps create space for deeper conversations about faith, encourages questions, and connects the lessons to everyday life. As we move forward with Brite, we’re not just teaching stories—we’re helping kids truly know Jesus, understand his love, and build a strong foundation for their faith.
Brite is designed to form lasting faith by helping kids belong to God and his kingdom, believe in Jesus as their Savior, and become like Jesus and walk in his ways through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Curriculum Is
- Biblically Grounded: Emphasizes Scripture-based, large and small-group teaching that is engaging and true.
- Age-Appropriate: Brite curriculum is tailored by age group, offering younger and older preschool curricula and younger/older elementary curricula that teach the Bible at their level.
- Interactive Learning: Hands-on, engaging activities that help make the Bible applicable to their lives today
- Gospel-focused: Focusing on kids understanding the need for a savior each week.
