Sermon Series: The Lord and His Prayer
Pastor Jeff Manion discusses Jesus’s instructions to pray “lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” Through this conversation, we see that Jesus wants us to ask for help with temptation because we are prone to self-deception and fulfilling our longings outside God’s plan. We are challenged to remember that not only has our sin transferred to Jesus on the cross, but that his goodness has transferred to us as well.
