Position Summary
The Youth Ministry Leader is an enthusiastic individual who can relate to all personalities in order to disciple students by building relationships with them in meaningful and impactful ways. The position assists the Director of Family Ministries in brainstorming student ministry activities. This position also helps to lead and implement mid-week youth group and other youth activities creating a healthy and spiritually vital place for students to connect with each other and grow in their faith.

- Experience in working with youth.

- Possesses a strong interest in and a current growing Biblical knowledge
- Able to easily connect with students and parents
- Possesses a strong interest in developing healthy relationships with teens
- Able to negotiate tense or sensitive situations and resolve conflict
- Able to appropriately handle confidential information
- Able to work when the job requires it which includes evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Able to travel occasionally when the job requires it
Work Environment – Physical Demands
Position functions are performed in a general office setting. Persons in this position:
- Frequently move about the workplace while navigating physical obstacles or barriers
- Frequently sit or stand while operating computers or other office equipment
- Constantly communicate with others to exchange information and promote mutual understanding, both in-person or via phone or email.
