Who doesn’t love variety in their workday? BBC Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Relief Route Driver in Grand Rapids! Most days you’ll be in our warehouse pulling orders, receiving shipments, and rotating and stocking inventory and others you’ll be delivering to our customers throughout the state. This is about an 80/20 split between warehousing and driving.
Position: Warehouse Assistant/Relief Route Driver
Reports to: Director of Distribution
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm – time may vary for driving shifts

Location: Grand Rapids branch
Essential Duties:
- Valid Chauffeur’s License is required – we drive box trucks.
- Customer service focused – you are the face of BBC! Show them how awesome you are!
- Warehouse tasks include pulling orders, loading/unloading trucks, inventory counts, shipping and receiving, and operating machinery like hi-los, fork lifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and push/pull 250lbs
- Accurate delivery of orders – don’t be afraid to double check your paperwork!
- Keep up with high safety standards – We provide OSHA-DOT training.
