Position title: Volunteer Hair Stylist
Position type: Volunteer (Hours- Up to Stylist)
Department/Area: Client Services
Basic function of position: The volunteer stylist will wash and cut clients and their children’s hair when appointments are scheduled. The volunteer is expected to clean tools, products, excess hair after appointments.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Relational
· Builds intentional relationships with clients and their children
Logistical/Administrative
· Cleans and sanitizes tools, products, and room
· Communicates regularly with Client Services Associate (AWC Reception)
· Licensed or formerly licensed stylist
· Ability to build relationships and communicate with a diverse group of students
· Ability to interact well with both individuals and groups from a variety of ethnicities and backgrounds
