Position: Senior Move Specialist

Reports to: Owner and Operations Manager

Location: Grand Rapids and Surrounding Areas

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

General Description: A Senior Move Specialist assists older adults and their families with the emotional and physical aspects of relocation and/or aging in place.They assist clients with downsizing and guide them through the dispersal of those items. They also guide and assist their team through the packing, unpacking, and set-up of the client’s new home.  The process may include drafting a floor plan of their furniture, hanging pictures and final touches, and many other tasks in between.

Primary Responsibilities: A Senior Move Specialist’s role differs from the other team members with increased responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

o   Guide and support clients and their families

o   Prepare client for their move or project

o   Maintain client satisfaction

o   Maintain positive community relations

o   Guide and supervise team members during the move

o   Manage movers for quality, efficiency, and professionalism

o   Maintain client info via SMS databases

o   Identify new lead opportunities

o   Motivate team members to deliver excellence in all endeavors

 

Compensation: Pay: $20+/hr, opportunity to earn tips, company vehicles available, mileage reimbursement, 401K

Ideal candidate is a dedicated professional, extremely personable and has the ability to establish rapport with clients quickly. This candidate will deliver a professional and consistent experience for our clients.

Must have excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, and basic proficiencies with Microsoft Office 365, Word, Google Suite. Knowledge of dementia and other compromising health issues a plus.
