Job Description:

The TEAM 21 program is seeking energetic, creative, and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of school-age youth. Duties include supervising groups of students in an after-school program setting, planning and implementing educational and recreational activities, and general mentorship of youth. Elementary and middle school positions are available; please specify any age preference in the application materials. Up to 17 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, with very occasional Friday or weekend responsibilities. $12.00/hour starting wage. Most positions are scheduled to begin in early January, though we have a few immediate openings that could start as soon as November. Hours will vary slightly depending on school bell times, but are traditional after-school hours in the 1:30 – 7:00 PM time frame.

 

Qualifications:

Experience working with children in a structured program setting is preferred, as is background and/or interest in education, recreation or other child-related fields. Candidates with no or little experience are encouraged to apply.

Must be creative, organized, possess excellent communications skills, be at least 18 years of age, and possess a high school diploma. College coursework and basic computer/technology skills preferred. Bilingual skills desired.
