General Labor - Seasonal/Temporary
Enjoy outdoor gardening among pollinators and birds by regularly caring for sustainable landscapes all over West Michigan. A successful Maintenance Technician will come with a self-directed mentality, eager to learn and apply methods of aftercare maintenance to Roots Wild landscapes in various seasons and weather.
Can you conceptualize the big picture plan AND enjoy tending the details that make that plan a success? Do you love plants and being outdoors?
You will love this opportunity to do it outdoors in landscape design maintenance.
Post-installation care of landscapes through:

weeding
-
transplanting
-
deadheading
-
trimming
-
waste removal
-
team/client communication
-
seasonal pot installations
Job Requirements:

Native Plant identification

Must have reliable transportation to/from work

Physical demands:

On task always

Ability to spend long hours on knees, squatting, standing

Load/unload materials, tools, yard waste

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Lift, squat, push, pull, shovel

Self-motivated to work in unfavorable weather conditions
Schedule:
Part time (could work into full time)
Seasonal (end of April through mid-October)
Pay & Benefits:

$17.50-19.50 / hour, commensurate with experience
