Our mission is to embrace the uniqueness of every learner, empowering them to reach their fullest potential.  As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated part-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team.

Job Overview:

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of our multisensory products. You will work closely with the operations team to oversee all aspects of the shipping process, from order preparation to final delivery. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. 

Responsibilities:

·       Receive, Review, and process customer orders in our order management system.

·       Prepare products for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling according to established guidelines.

·       Conduct quality control checks to ensure accurate order fulfillment and to resolve any discrepancies.

·       Coordinate with operations team to maintain appropriate inventory levels and communicate any inventory shortages.

·       Collaborate with customer support team by answering phones and emailing customers to address shipping-related inquiries, resolve customer concerns, and provide shipment status updates.

·       Maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking, carrier information, and delivery confirmations.

·       Monitor shipping supplies and initiate re-ordering when necessary.

·       Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and all laws.

·       Build product kits and keep shelves stocked. 

·       Keep the shipping area clean of debris. 

·       Continue to optimize shipment process to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

·       Prior experience or familiarity with order management systems and shipping software is preferred.

·       Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·       Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.

·       Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office suite, QuickBooks, shipping, and inventory management systems.

·       Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50lbs.
