The Opportunity
The Relationship Manager (RM) will lead the coordination of financial services to provide a seamless delivery of outstanding client experiences and outcomes. The RM will be responsible for advising clients to help them meet their financial goals and objectives, as well as educating and enabling them to make informed financial decisions. This position will collaborate and communicate extensively with both internal and external professionals.

What You’ll Do
- Pro-actively collaborate and communicate with team members and the RDV CFO to ensure strategic alignment and tactical deployment of optimal services to the Family.
- Effectively lead coordination and facilitation of client financial services, including:Financial planning, long-term modeling, and annual cash flow planning.
- Treasury management and reporting, including banking relationships and financial reporting.
- Investment support, including liaison with OA Private Capital and branch offices.
- Delivery of risk and personal asset management services.
- Communication in the collection of information required for tax compliance services.
- Manage and lead client relationships, including:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, holding numerous client meetings and keeping open lines of communications.
- Develop a complete and ongoing understanding of clients’ financial objectives and goals and ensure recommendations and counsel provided is productive and consistent.
- Display a comprehensive understanding of the “total picture,” communicating and collaborating with internal and external experts when appropriate.
- Cultivate strong professional working relationships with clients. Demonstrate ability to add value by anticipating possible solutions and partnering with client to implement.
- Ensure overall client satisfaction by facilitating efforts of service team, coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution, effectively communicating client concerns/needs.
- Manage communications and activities to ensure resolution of all issues and to provide a seamless delivery of services and outcomes; retain communications and documents as needed.
- Create financial modeling and presentations.
- Educate and advise clients on their potential financial impact resulting from emerging issues, as well as regulatory and tax changes.
- Collaborates and works effectively with Accounting team members to continually improve financial reporting.
- Assist in shaping an evolving client service strategy, including responsibilities such as:
- Serve as a key member of the comprehensive Client Service Team.
- Pro-actively share information regarding pertinent family information, interactions, and assignments with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and the Client Service Team, as appropriate to help everyone best serve the clients.
- Assist with the search and implementation of technology tools, including a potential CRM solution, development of a client portal, and other projects as needed to streamline and optimize services to the Family.
- Serve as a resource in the creation and sourcing of financial learning plans and materials.
- Improve and document processes to be consistent and scalable.
- Provide overall exceptional caliber of services and appropriate level of engagement with the Family, while also displaying appropriate protocol and professional boundaries in all situations when working and interfacing with Family members and their staff.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 10 years experience in the financial services industry, with direct client relationship management for a minimum of three years.
- MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting related field required.
- CFP or CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of estate and tax planning, as well as risk management.
- Proven ability to work with private clients in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Proven superior skills in collaboration, delegation, and leadership necessary to service the client relationship.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and oral which transcends to diverse audiences with clients at all levels of financial knowledge and acumen.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Experience with financial planning and modeling techniques and software.
- Demonstrated history of implementing technology solutions or expertise in utilizing and interest in technology.
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and follow through.

- Must be able to work an irregular schedule, evenings or Saturdays as needed, with additional hours and travel during peak times or as required.
