The Opportunity
The position is part of a team that is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the technology incorporated into the properties owned by the clients of RDV.
In addition, the position is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and apply knowledge and expertise as it relates to residential construction processes, for assigned projects. The individual in this position will be collaborate with Wakestream IT staff who provide Audio/Visual, Networking, Desktop computer support, and related technologies utilized by Principals and the Principals’ support staff. This includes responsibility for projects related to new or existing family homes, offices, marine vessels, and other locations. The ability for this position to communicate effectively and to build trust is critical.

What You’ll Do
- Work as a member of the Wakestream Property Technology team and participate in achieving strategic goals for the Wakestream IT department.
- Assist to keep the electronic project collaboration tools and systems updated.
- Oversee and review the electronic project documentation standards to ensure content and organization.
- Work with the Wakestream IT Operations and Property Technology Manager to determine project assignments and project resources.
- Make suggestions to improve the project process as needed.
- Help ensure project success and proactively mitigate project risk factors.
- Track and analyze project status, risks factors and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain project budgets vs actuals.
- Appropriately address and respond to inquiries and problems in a timely manner.
- Assist with project-related administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, project team communications and following-up with staff and outside vendors.
- Lead project update and planning meetings.
- Work closely with Residential Technology Technician on project trip equipment and supply requirements.
- Proactively maintain relationships with household staff and outside vendors.
- Be available after normal business hours for support as needed.
- Participate in other project and support activities as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years or more project coordination experience
- Certified Project Manager preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction project management, technology or AV industries preferred.
- Strong administrative/computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Teams and Google Drive.
- Facilitation skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and the ability to document thoroughly.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Flexible and able to multitask on various aspects of a project or on multiple projects.
- Ability to work non-routine hours over eight (8) hours per day, forty (40) hours per week and five (5) days a week.
- Maintain a pleasant, professional, and confidential demeanor with the highest level of customer service at all times.
Essential Physical Demands
- Lifting fifty (50) pounds to a maximum height of four (4) feet.
- Climbing steps and stairs; stooping and bending.
