Eastminster Preschool is a small, private, tuition-based preschool on the SE side of Grand Rapids. We are looking for a warm, caring, enthusiastic individual to join our amazing staff! We teach socialization and Kindergarten readiness skills from a Christian worldview and persective. Our preschool is unique in that all teachers carry equal responsibility for teaching, and all teaching is done in a collaborative, team environment. This position is for a preschool teacher to join a team of two other experienced teachers for a three-year-old class of approximately 16 students meeting Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 am until 11:15 am during the school year. Responsibilities would include but not be limited to: preparing teaching materials, working with the team to plan lessons, playing alongside children to scaffold learning, leading large and small group teaching times as well as other responsibilities. Candidate would also be responsible for 5-6 children in a small group setting, as well as conferencing with these families.
