Position: Parts Counter Salesperson
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Compensation Package: $28.00-$41.00/hr depending on experience
Full – time Parts Counter Salesperson performs a variety of customer service duties, selling engine parts, fuel systems, turbochargers, fan clutches and emission products.
Essential Functions
- Promptly assisting customer calls and walk-ins.
- Professional business towards customers and employees.
- Become familiar with all product lines including some diagnostics and selling for parts counter.
- Read catalogs, or computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
- Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
Competencies
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Some sales experience, preferable 2 years in parts sales
- Lift up to 50 lbs., standing and walking
- Navigate OEM manufacturer software for parts lookup
- Professional appearance.
Diesel Injection is a factory authorized distributor of all major OE fuel injection, turbocharger and engine part manufacturers and runs a state licensed repair facility.
