Truck & Trailer Specialties, Inc. is hiring a Prep Technician at our Dutton paint shop. Municipal and commercial vehicles are our specialty.

This full time position is a supportive role to our vehicle paint shop for both new and repaired trucks, work trailers, and vans: taping, sanding, grinding touch ups with the goal to advance to painting. Previous experience a plus but we will train the right person. Must be able to demonstrate reliability and good work ethic.

Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform disassembly and reassembly of damaged/repaired vehicles
- Prepare and sand body areas to be painted; cover bumpers, windows, and trim
- Use power sanders and grinders
- Maintain clean work area
Must possess or be willing to purchase necessary tools.
For your safety, keep in mind:
· Heavy lifting is required – 50 pounds or more would not be unusual
· Twisting, bending, reaching, stretching are required
· Long periods of standing
· Approximately 48-50 per week – day shifts
· Shop noise, dust, moving mechanical parts, vehicles
· Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
