NorthPointe Christian is looking for Middle School and High School coaches for the 21/22 school year. NorthPointe Christian Coaches will be hired to assist in general athletic and spiritual development of their level of the program, as led by the varsity coach. PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES – All middle school coaches are responsible for helping the varsity coach to build an entire program, by yielding to the supervision of the varsity coach. This includes but is not limited to the following. ● Participation – Full participation in practice and competition is a guaranteed part of this level. ● Recruiting – helping to recruit players from within the school and encourage them to participate. ● Evaluation – meet with varsity coach, during and after the season. Be open to growing, remember you are helping build their program. ● Camps/Clinics – Help varsity coach as needed or asked. Equipment/Uniforms – maintain and properly care for all equipment and store it properly. Distribute and collect all level appropriate uniforms. ● Keys – Keys will be issued by the varsity coach and should be returned to the varsity coach after the season, unless the varsity coach feels they are needed. ● Budget – The budget is overseen by the varsity coach. Any purchase should go directly through the varsity coach. ● Roster – Maintain an accurate player roster and share it with the athletic department. ● Spiritual Mentoring – Provide Spiritual growth and mentoring to all athletes on your own as well as in cooperation with the varsity coach.
