Job description:
AKA Education is a local tutoring company serving students throughout the greater Grand Rapids area. We are seeking a part‑time Secondary Mathematics Tutor to support students in middle school through calculus, beginning in March 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized tutoring in secondary mathematics (middle school–high school)
- Support students with coursework, test preparation, and skill development
- Maintain consistent weekly sessions at least through the end of May 2026
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field required
- Experience teaching or tutoring secondary mathematics (middle school–high school)
- Strong communication skills and reliability
Position Details:
- 2–9 hours per week
- After‑school availability required
- Flexible scheduling
- Hourly compensation
- In‑person sessions primarily in the East Grand Rapids area
