Overview
As a LifeWise vehicle driver in the Forest Hills program, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and maintains a clean driving record.
Qualifications and Experience

A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the “What We Believe” section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the “What We Believe” section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
-
A valid driver’s license (a copy may be kept on file by the LifeWise program)

Must have been continuously licensed for the past three years

Age requirement: 21–80 years

Drivers over 75 must submit additional documentation:

Van drivers over age 75: Submit an annual Physician’s Statement via support ticket

Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the past five years

Successful completion of a LifeWise Academy background check
-
Drivers with known medical conditions must obtain a yearly underwriter-approved Physician’s Statement
Job Responsibilities Overview

Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
-
Obey all traffic laws
-
Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the vehicle

Perform regular vehicle inspections

Refuel the vehicle as needed
-
Create and maintain a safe environment for children

Enforce student safety rules
-
Assist students with entering or exiting the vehicle when needed

Maintain a calm and caring demeanor

Monitor students who may need help or are misbehaving

Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director

Promote and communicate LifeWise’s religious mission in all duties and interactions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s core values and beliefs
