The Opportunity
The Lead Educator serves as the spiritual, intellectual, and cultural anchor of a private pre-school. This position is responsible for maintaining high fidelity to a prescribed instructional framework while delivering sophisticated, individualized instruction. The Lead Educator functions as a steward of the school’s mission, ensuring that a “Head-Heart-Hands” philosophy is integrated into every aspect of student development. This role requires a high degree of professional discretion, instructional excellence, and a commitment to nature-based formation within a Biblical worldview.

This position operates in a dynamic, nature-based educational environment. Candidates must be prepared to work outdoors for extended periods and manage the physical demands of a nature-centric curriculum.

What You’ll Do

  • Spiritual Stewardship & Formation: Lead daily worship, liturgical prayer, and Biblical integration; foster an environment where spiritual growth is central to the academic experience.
  • Instructional Excellence: Deliver high-touch, personalized instruction in core literacy and mathematics; facilitate discovery-based learning blocks that encourage critical thinking and curiosity.
  • Nature Integration: Primary responsibility for ensuring outdoor learning is the central pedagogical environment; design and execute curricula that utilize the natural world as a classroom.
  • Developmental Documentation: Observe, document, and provide comprehensive reporting on student progress across spiritual, academic, and social-emotional domains.
  • Communication: Act as a professional liaison to families, ensuring high-frequency, professional communication regarding student development and school culture.
  • Program Coordination: Oversee mentorship programs and manage strategic community partnerships to enhance the learning ecosystem.
  • Administrative Integrity: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions, adhering to the academy’s standards for discretion and excellence.


What You’ll Bring

  • Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional Experience: Proven track record of excellence in primary education, preferably within a classical, private, or specialized learning environment.
  • Biblical Alignment: Deep personal alignment with a Biblical worldview; must be comfortable and proficient in leading prayer and spiritual formation.
  • Environmental Proficiency: Strong comfort level and experience teaching in outdoor and nature-based settings regardless of weather conditions.
  • Core Competencies: Uncompromising discretion and professionalism in high-net-worth or private family environments.
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly adaptable and energetic with a “results-focused” approach to student formation.
  • Availability: Ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (2 days/week) beginning in July 2026.
