Job Description:
den Hollander Lawn Care is seeking a motivated and dedicated Lawn Care Crew Leader to join our team and lead a crew of lawn care technicians in Grand Rapids. While experience is helpful, it’s not required – we are happy to train the right candidate! At den Hollander Lawn Care, we focus on attention to detail, honesty, and kindness in everything we do. As a Crew Leader, you will help uphold these core values while delivering exceptional lawn care services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a crew of lawn care professionals in providing high-quality lawn maintenance services, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.

Ensure that all tasks are completed with precision and attention to detail, according to company standards.

Manage and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and kindness.

Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any concerns with honesty and transparency.

Monitor and report on inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ensuring all materials are available for service days.

Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment for the team.

Full time employees must be willing to plow snow in the winter.
Requirements:

Experience in lawn care or landscaping is helpful but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills, with a focus on honesty and kindness.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.

Must pass a background check.
