Building/Construction - Full-time
Mullers Paint & Design Co. is seeking a window treatment installer. Job duties will primarily focus on installation of custom blinds and shades. Other responsibilities will include shipping/receiving, delivery, repairs, etc. as needed. Please follow link or drop off resumes, and feel free to call with questions. Duties & Responsibilties
As an installer, you would be traveling within the greater Grand Rapids area in a company vehicle. The majority of installs are within residences, with some work performed in retail storefronts/offices. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Checking in orders and loading/unloading for jobs.
Traveling to and from job sites.
Planning and executing an efficient installation.
Cleaning up work area, removing any packaging material from the job.
Demonstrating operation of window treatments to clients.
Working closely with the sales/design team.
Restringing/repairing blinds.
In addition to installation, you will also perform duties around our retail storefront. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Receiving and warehousing paint deliveries.
Deliveries to job sites.
Shipping website orders.
Experience & Interaction
We are looking for a handy individual that is detail oriented and personable for client interaction. Remodel construction or maintenance experience preferred, but we will train the right individual. A valid driver’s license is required. If hired, the individual will work closely with the sales team and current installer during a mentoring period. Good communication skills, organization, multi-tasking, and reliability are a must.
Compensation & Hours
Mullers offers competitive wages for the industry. Benefits would include vacation, holiday pay, and a retirement plan. Candidates will need to be somewhat flexible with scheduling, but most work is performed between 8am-6pm.
