Sales - Full-time

This is primarily an inside sales position, but may require some outside sales.

Our 25-year-old company continues to grow and has an opening for a Full-Time Inside Sales Representative that will be responsible for acquiring and supporting the marketing, print & sign needs of business to business clients.

Some of the activities of the position include qualifying leads, sales appointments, proposal presentations and follow up. The ability to leverage modern technology including computers, the internet, social media and email are integral to the role. You will be required to make phone calls to people you don’t know, you must be willing to call and call and call again. Seriously if you are not willing to follow up you should not apply.

Success in this position will require you to create business conversations with complete strangers; many of who won’t want to talk to you, it is not easy. If you are looking to punch a time-clock and collect a paycheck this is not the job for you. If however you are looking for a career opportunity with an uncapped commission structure this might be what you are looking for.

The right candidate has experience in B2B sales, new account development and account management. Important traits include being energetic, positive, self-motivated, detailed and a strong people person. Background in print, marketing, signage, direct mail or promotional products is a plus.

The Important Stuff You Must Have:

-You must be nice to the people who are our customers and those that you work with even when they don’t deserve it

-Be a good communicator – in person, on the phone and able to compose a professional email

-Have a basic technical aptitude with computers and internet

-Like to work and work while at work

-Basic math is a must

-Must be willing to jump in and figure things out on your own, no hand holding here

-You must be a life-long learner to work here. Lots to learn and it’s always changing

-Willingness to pick up the phone and call someone, then call again and then make another call. Initiate conversations

Big Pluses If You Have:

-Sold B2B

-A background in the print or sign industry

-Understanding of direct mail and the data that drives it

-Software experience with Microsoft Office

-Utilized a CRM system
