Job Description

Human Relations - Part-time

Job Responsibilities:

1.      Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and state licensing of camps.

2.      Owns the employee and volunteer life cycle process including but not limited to:

a)     Recruitment

b)     Hiring process (application, background checks, reference checks)

c)      Onboarding

d)     Personal and professional development

e)     Performance reviews

f)       Offboarding

3.      Development and support of the overall Camp Roger culture

4.      Wage administration including bi-weekly payroll verification

5.      Benefit management including yearly review and recommendation for changes

6.      Management of employee performance review process

7.      Support and assist with Camp Roger’s Vision 2025 of belonging for all

8.      Manages job descriptions

9.      Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

1.      Upholds the dignity of all and sees everyone as an image bearer of God.

7.      Ability to lift 20 lbs.

8.      Working knowledge of Office 365.

9.      Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of human resource experience

 

Responsible to/Supported by: Associate Director

Member of: Year-round staff

 

Organizational Requirements:

2.      Dedication to serving others.

3.      Fluent, bi-literate English/Spanish preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

1.      This is a part time position, 30 hours/week with an hourly rate of $18-20/hr.

2.      PTO = 5 days, plus 7 holiday days per year.
