ABOUT US:
Monsma Landscape and Maintenance, Inc. began in the late 1970s when brothers Dan and Dave combined their resources and purchased a $39 mower. They pulled the mower behind their bikes to job sites in the Alger Heights neighborhood. After all these years, the brothers are still highly successful in their business and provide top shelf lawn care and landscape services. Our company provides fine lawn care and landscape services, as well as snow removal services for fine properties. We are in high demand because of our reputation for excellent work.
We are looking to add a HORTICULTURALIST/BED CARE CREW MEMBER to our strong and united team!
HORTICULTURALIST/ BED CARE CREW MEMBER RESPONSIBILITES:
· Maintain landscape beds at both private and commercial properties.
· Pull tall weeds and weeds near desirable plants.
· Pick up sticks and trash.
· Prune tree suckers.
· Pull/dig out weed trees.
· Dead head spent flowers.
· Occasionally operate line trimmers, edgers, blowers, and mowers.
· Keep the truck and equipment clean.
· Obtain and renew pesticide certification with Michigan Department of Agrilculture.
LAWN CARE CREW MEMBER EXPECTATIONS:
· Arrive on time and work the entire day. We start by 8 AM and finish around 5 PM.
· Ability to work occasional overtime and/or Saturdays.
· Ability to work independently or with a crew.
· Willingness to take direction, cross-train, and learn how we do things at MLM.
· Attention to detail and positive, can-do attitude.
WAGES/BENEFITS:
· Based on experience. Crew members (over age 18) start at $18/hour.
· Six paid holidays (if working year-round).
