JOB SUMMARY:
Performs routine exterior maintenance to resident residences and other buildings throughout Holland Home. Assumes responsibility for the exterior maintenance of all landscapes throughout the Holland Home campuses including lawn mowing, weeding, snow plowing, salting, shoveling, set-ups etc. Performs daily rounds, performs exterior maintenance on a written work request system, completes preventive maintenance requests and identifies and repairs deficiencies.
HOURS:
Monday through Friday (varied hours) with some on-call responsibilities, due to weather, emergencies/safety issues.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The job requires knowledge normally acquired through a general high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 16 years of age. Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance.
Must be able to pass a background check. Because of our licensing through the State of Michigan we cannot accept any felonies, larceny, assaults to human or animal and retail fraud. Must also be able to pass a drug screen.
