Job Summary

The Field Project Manager will work closely with international partners and Unknown Nations’ internal teams to manage and report on ministry projects in the field. This role is responsible for overseeing all active projects for assigned partners, ensuring timely updates, meaningful reporting, and alignment with organizational priorities. The Field Project Manager reports to the Director of International Ministries and plays a key role in the communication flow between field partners and development, marketing, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Project Oversight & Reporting

● Track all projects on an ongoing basis, ensuring timely monthly updates.

● Ensure the completeness of project reports, capturing both quantitative metrics and qualitative impact stories.

● Use project management software (Monday.com) and digital asset management tools (Canto) to manage reporting flow and documentation.

Partner Communication & Support

● Maintain regular communication with assigned field partners in Africa and/or Asia.

● Provide guidance to partners to ensure clear expectations and alignment with Unknown Nations’ reporting needs.

● Assist partners with semi-annual planning and monthly reporting processes.

● Affirm reporting requirements and help train or troubleshoot as needed.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication

● Coordinate with the development and marketing teams to provide up-to-date project details and compelling stories for donor engagement.

● Capture and compile testimonies that highlight the impact of field projects.

● Share relevant updates and learnings at weekly staff meetings or as requested.

Travel & Relationship Building

● Travel occasionally to build trust with partners, attend regional meetings, and strengthen on-the-ground understanding of ministry needs.

● Represent Unknown Nations with cultural sensitivity and integrity in international settings.

Other Duties

● Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or leadership to ensure project effectiveness and partner success.

Pay

● Commensurate with experience

● This is a full-time, salaried position.

Qualifications

● 3+ years experience with project management/tracking and data analysis.

● Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to track multiple projects simultaneously.

● Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and digital asset tools (e.g., Canto), or a willingness to learn.

● Ability to build rapport with diverse teams.

● Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

● A personal commitment to the mission and values of Unknown Nations.

● Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
