As a House Manager, you’ll be an integral part of fulfilling the mission of Wings of God by providing a secure and nurturing Christian living environment. Your role goes beyond just managing a house; you’ll be fostering a haven of positive change, where broken souls find healing and transformation through the love of Christ.

Your insights and updates will be a vital link to our Executive Director, ensuring the continual growth of our ministry.
Embrace the Hope: Responsibilities and Duties:
Your role will encompass a variety of fulfilling tasks, such as building relationships with Program Participants, volunteers, donors, and staff. From assisting with jail visits to supervising Program Participants and ensuring adherence to house rules, you’ll be a guiding presence. Planning heartwarming group activities, mentoring, and even overseeing Lucy, our therapy dog, will be part of your day-to-day.
Qualifications that Light Your Path:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a personal and vibrant faith relationship with Jesus Christ, a deep compassion for those seeking change, and if applicable, 20 years of personal sobriety/recovery from substance abuse. Technical proficiency with PC applications, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to establish healthy boundaries are all essential.
Your Impact and Expectations:
Your faith isn’t confined within the walls of the house – weekly church attendance and maintaining a Christ-like attitude and behavior are crucial. You’ll guide Program Participants with practical responses rooted in biblical teachings, encouraging them to live according to these principles. Upholding confidentiality, adhering to business practices, and fostering a culture of respect will be central to your role.
Shining Hours and Rewards:
As a full-time House Manager, you’ll be on the clock from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. While you’ll be the go-to person during these hours, the willingness to schedule evening and weekend commitments in advance showcases your dedication.
