Job Title: Editorial Internship

Work Team: Publishing (VOICES)

 

Work alongside Publishing to provide editorial support for various tasks assigned by the executive editors including:

• Author care, and author data

• Correspondence with and contracting freelancers (independent contractors)

• Content evaluation

• Editorial production, including editing and proofreading

• Social media marketing tasks

 

3-month (June – August, 2021) summer internship at 20 hours/week

 

The Voices Collection resources:

• Authors

• Content delivered through ministry print, digital, media channels

 

• English, writing or related education

• Publishing experience a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Some desktop publishing training or skills

• Familiarity with Word and Adobe applications, social media platforms

• Cultural sensitivity

• Ability to work remotely
