Job Description 

   E-Commerce Associate 

 

Reports to: E-Commerce Manager                                              Department: Retail                                                                                                                

Location: Kentwood                                                                      FLSA: Non-exempt                                                                             

Shift:  Part-Time Pay                                                                     Grade: R-1                                                                             

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Pick and process daily website orders and send products to the shipping department.  

  • Process returns for online orders. 

  • Package and label outgoing shipments.  

  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, maintaining them over time.  

  • Maintain knowledge of products, current sales and promotions, and all policies regarding website purchases. 

  • Provide basic phone support for online customers.

  • Attention to Detail – Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.  

  • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the ability to understand and communicate information in both oral and written formats.

  • Tools & Technology – Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and an ability to navigate e-mail, Internet, database and inventory management software, web platform software. 

  • Sociability – Ability to provide outstanding service to others and work with co-workers in a friendly non-competitive environment.  

  • Physical Qualifications – Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, with the ability to lift, bend, and twist as required. 

  • Availability – Occasional Saturday and evening availability needed.
