Position:                        Data Entry Assistant / Temporary Position

Department:                Medical Services

Hours:                            Temporary / Part Time; 20-40 hrs. per week

Position Summary: 

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the transition of our hard copy client medical records to our online, electronic medical records data base. This involves scanning and uploading files into our client data base.

Reporting Relationship: Medical Services Director

Position Description:

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Scan client files according to the outlined process provided by PRC Medical Services Director
  • Upload files into client database
  • Complete data entry in an accurate, timely manner
  • File and archive client charts

PRC Core Competencies & Requirements:

  • Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically able to lift 25 lbs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with highly sensitive data
  • Prior experience working in an office environment
  • Prior experience working with database programs, from entering data to generating reports
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
