Housekeeping / Cleaning - Full-time
Hillside Community Church is hiring for a full-time custodian position at 32 hours per week. The individual will be responsible for the complete cleanliness of the facility, as well as assisting ministries in setting up and tearing down for events. Additional responsibilities may include setting up and tearing down for special events such as weddings and funerals. The individual will communicate directly and often with the Facilities Manager to ensure that areas are prepared for ministry events and Sunday worship services.
This position includes working Sunday mornings while maintaining a regular schedule during the week. Sunday shifts require the individual to open the building prior to the first service, remain on site and maintain the cleanliness throughout the morning, and close up the building following the second service. We offer a flexible work schedule during the week (Monday – Friday) as well as a positive team environment.
Previous custodial/janitorial experience is preferred but not required. The individual must be able to lift up to 50lbs and have reliable transportation. Starting pay is $15 per hour with annual reviews and the interested person must pass a background check. Benefits are available.
