Job Title: Colleague Support and Community Education Representative Reporting

Relationship: Education Director

Department: Education

Days Worked: TBD – Potential for colleague support hours to be completed off-site, while church and community teaching may include some evening and weekend hours

Required Hours: Part-time – 24 hours per week; Hourly / Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to support W2W licensed colleagues and PRC local church and community organizations in their education activities. Increasing support of W2W (Willing to Wait) Colleagues will result in a higher level of curriculum fidelity, confidence and expertise of Colleagues, and the level of instructional excellence that they are able to provide. Teaching PRC Education curricula to youth groups and community groups will build the credibility of the church and increase optimal health outcomes for youth.

Specific Responsibilities:

Church & Community Youth Leader Connections: Build relationship with church and community leaders

o Be knowledgeable in all PRC Education Curricula and assist church/community leaders in identifying needs that can be met through PRC programming.

o Work with church leaders to provide W2W Healthy You programs & volunteering opportunities.

o Represent the PRC and Willing to Wait® with professionalism to church leaders, parents, students, and community members.

Colleague Sales Management: Accountable for all aspects of Willing to Wait curriculum sales

o Receive curriculum material requests

o Communicate licensee requirements and agreement procedures

o Assemble materials for sales and shipping

o Assist persons who purchase Willing to Wait’s online training with account registration, track progress, review quizzes, and lead Q&A at the end of each completed session

o Create invoices and track payments

o File and track expiration dates of completed licensee agreements

Communication and Contact Management: Manage contact data for colleagues, churches, and community

o Communicate twice a month with Colleagues about curriculum updates, available learning opportunities, training tips, news, prayer requests, and encouragement

o Communicate with area church leaders when W2W is being taught in their school district, licensing opportunities, relevant news related to youth trends and sexual health, and available speakers

o Manage and track licensee contact information, curriculum version purchased, licensee agreements, use of purchased curriculum, and number of students taught

o Disseminate curriculum updates and related training materials

o Plan/Lead biannual online licensee meetings

o Coordinate with PRC Development Assistant and Education Department Scheduling Coordinator on church contact updates, instructor and material requests, scheduling items, etc.

o Manage Colleague portal on W2W website by keeping materials and licensee accounts updated

Teaching & Certification: Accountable for all aspects of teaching/speaking for after-school, evening, and weekend instruction opportunities

o Fulfill assigned teaching obligations as set by Education Director.

o Manage “class” time and follow approved curriculum content to cover material as arranged by youth leader and W2W staff.

o Be knowledgeable in the curricula available for teaching, licensing, and purchase

o Attend related seminars and workshops as offered. Complete KISD, state certifications, and SRA Specialist Credential as position requires

W2W Workshop Events: Oversee the event planning for online or in-person training events for current or potential licensee’s:

o Utilize existing templates to communicate upcoming events with W2W Colleagues

o Work with education team to create schedules, prepare materials for events

o Host/MC the event

o Manage workshop attendee fees and registration materials, and product sales.

Administrative and Organization Involvement: Completion of day-to-day clerical and reporting tasks

o Report data related to Key Performance Indicators: student and school/church/organization numbers, Colleague contact points, etc.

o Maintain care of and be knowledgeable in the use of PRC property as distributed for the position

o Participate in long-range planning meetings, department trainings, PRC Prayer Summit, all-staff meetings, and other PRC sponsored events as schedule permits

Position Requirements:

o Self-starter, able to work in fast-paced environment and coordinate multiple projects with overlapping timelines

o Ability to explain concepts from multiple perspectives

o Detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently organize materials and information

o Excellent business acumen

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Background in cultural competence

o Ability to build and retain positive relationships

o Ability to lift 25 pounds and be able to stand or walk in classroom for extended periods of time without taking a break

o Familiar and/or willing to learn Zoom, Google Meet, Whatsapp, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, additionally knowledge in Mailchimp, Emma and/or Canva are preferred but not required
