Position Summary
The Ministry Operations and Communications Coordinator provides administrative, communication, and event coordination support to advance the local CBMC ministry. The Field Assistant also serves as an operational liaison between the local chapter and CBMC national office, helping maintain alignment, communication flow, and implementation of national initiatives at the local level.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Organizational Oversight
Prepare and distribute monthly Leadership Team meeting agendas
Capture and distribute meeting minutes and action items
Maintain organized digital records of documents and decisions
Manage and update ministry calendar (meetings, events, deadlines)
Provide light budget tracking and coordinate the submission of donation checks to CBMC National for deposit
Communications
Upload, format, and schedule the pre-written Monday Manna devotional in the CRM database for weekly distribution
Coordinate donor communications and ministry updates
Manage social media content scheduling and posting
Maintain and update contact databases
Ensure professional, clear, and consistent written communication
Event Planning & Logistics
Coordinate logistics for quarterly luncheon events
Manage registration processes and attendee communication
Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, and event materials
Provide logistical support for occasional additional ministry events
Work Structure
Primarily remote position, with onsite required for:
Monthly Leadership Team meetings
Quarterly luncheon events
Occasional additional ministry events (as needed)
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Self-directed and able to manage priorities without the need for constant oversight
Alignment with the mission and values of CBMC
Experience in event coordination, communications, email marketing platforms, and/or ministry administration preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus
