Calvin Theological Seminary has an open position for a part-time Associate Director of Vocational Formation. The main purpose of this role is to further advance the cause of student formation through the work and tools of the Vocational Formation Office (VFO). The Associate Director of the VFO will have responsibilities, in coordination with the Director of the VFO to ensure that student engagement and assessment in the formation process occurs in an effective manner. This will involve the Associate Director in the use of assessments, the effective implementation of the curricular and non-curricular formation tools (concurrent placements, cross cultural work, formation groups, mentoring relationships and more), face to face mentoring with students, and the sustaining of a vocational assessment process that serves current and prospective students, as well as local church leaders. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) year round position with flexibility in scheduled working hours and working some hours remotely.
