QUALIFICATIONS
A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team and takes pride in their work. We are seeking an individual that has demonstrated ability in leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively and independently in a dynamic environment. Occasionally, weekend and night availability is required to assist the team and prior management/ HR and wedding experience is helpful.
COMPETENCIES AND SPECIAL SKILLS
Communication Skills : Being able to effectively communicate, as well as listen, to guests, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and cordial manner. Guest service and interpersonal skills are imperative in communicating with clients and team.
Composition Skills : Being able to remain calm and composed in the high pressure of the event business, always poised, polished and professional.
Computer Skills : Being proficient in computer skills, including Google will be necessary, as well as learning the TripleSeat, When I Work, and Prism Softwares for Venue3Two communication, scheduling, and organization.
Clarification Skills : Being able to problem solve and provide clarity to a situation or event, as well as with staff relations.
Coordination Skills : Being able to recognize and cultivate the potential in the team, leading the team to excellence in guest relations and events.
Creativity Skills: Being able to proactively recognize and oversee the building needs, the future venue plans, the facilities vendors, and maintain the overall branding/aesthetic of Venue3Two.
SPECIFIC ROLES
Team:
- Provide day-to-day direction, guidance and support to our staff, creating teamwork and addressing queries and issues promptly
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring smooth assimilation into the organization
- Assist the Director in team development and participate in staff training sessions
- Manage our staff and event schedule to ensure seamless execution of our team
Facilities Management:
- Proactively manage our facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness and operational excellence
- Manage building projects and ongoing maintenance schedule, coordinating maintenance requests working with contractors
- Manage our rental inventory and supplies
Other:
- Plan or assist with executing Special Events and Projects as needed
