Position title: Development Coordinator
Position type: Staff (part-time, hybrid, hourly at approximately 20 hours per week).
Pay range: $17.50-$20 per hour
Department: Development
Reports to: Development Director
Basic function of position: The Development Coordinator provides support for donor administration and oversees Partner For Life (PFL) program for Alpha Grand Rapids (AGR).
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Donor Administration
- Maintains donor management system
- Records donations and deposits funds in a timely fashion
- Creates necessary systems and reports to track donor retention and interactions/communications
- Works with the Finance Manager to balance all records between the bank, QuickBooks, and the donor management system on a monthly basis
- Provides documentation for annual audit
- Help maintain donor-related marketing materials
- Assists with donor campaigns and strategy
- Sends new donor information each month
Partner For Life
- Oversees Partner For Life donor program, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records including billing information
- Thinks strategically on ways to increase and acquire Partner For Life members
- Develops and implements Partner For Life reward/thank you process
Other
- Assists with the registrations and sponsorships of all AGR events
- Promotes and attends all AGR events
- Participates in all required staff meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications for the Position
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Comparable experience will also be considered
Prior work experience: Knowledge of donor administration and working with limited supervision preferred
Language proficiency: English required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
