Hours/Travel:

Part time position; 2-3 days per week Monday-Friday (variable), 8-24 hours per week (variable). We serve/travel to patients within a 60 mile radius of Grand Rapids Michigan.

 

Salary/Time Frame:

$15- $18 per hour commensurate with experience; Ongoing, interviews will be conducted until a qualified candidate is found.

Job description :

Administrative Assistant handles routine and advanced duties for i’Therapy PLC Concierge Physical Therapy. Organizing, creating correspondence, preparing reports and documents, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, sorting mail/email/faxes, preparing invoices and offering general staff support. Accompanying provider during all female patient evaluations/treatments for liability purposes. Managing social media for marketing purposes. Serving as an initial point of contact, answering phones, greeting and communicating with patients/clients. Engaging in event planning and meeting setup and implementation. Making travel arrangements and generating itineraries. Dealing with other people from a wide variety of levels, from patients/clients to other healthcare professionals. Taking detailed notes during patient initial evaluations and treatments. Performing other responsibilities to assist provider.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Decision-making: Administrative Assistants have to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.

  • Communications and collaboration: An Administrative Assistant must collaborate with other team members and support personnel, management and clients on a regular basis. Simple communication outside of the typical 8-5pm business day is a normal occurrence due to the nature of concierge medicine and timely responses.

  • Organizational skills: Organization and prioritization are the core elements of the Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities. You must know how to keep yourself and others organized and how to determine which tasks are the most important in a given list.

  • Writing: Spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and writing are essential to an Administrative Assistant, who must be proficient in a variety of styles, from creative to professional to technical to education and more.

  • Marketing: Target audience/population through social media outlets.

  • Physical Condition: Ability to lift up to 30-45 pounds on a daily basis (we bring our own equipment into each patients home).

  • Character/Integrity: Doing the right thing when no one else is watching, self initiator, passion for excellence, positive attitude, knowing when to talk and what to say and when to be silent to create an environment for our patients to truly heal (mind, body, soul).
