Administrative Assistant – Custom Home Builder

Location: Grand Rapids
Employment Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to join our custom home building team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes initiative, and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and organize bills, receipts, and other office records
  • Keep the office clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Order office supplies and manage deliveries
  • Take detailed notes during client meetings and job planning sessions
  • Record and organize homeowner selections for finishes and materials
  • Assist with permit applications and documentation
  • Monitor company emails and phone calls, routing messages appropriately
  • Provide general administrative support to management and field teams
  • Month End Reports

Qualifications:

  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred (construction experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Quickbooks and Quickbooks Time/Payroll
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
