Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer services and enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of logistics and transportation management. This role involves overseeing customer service operations, ensuring efficient handling of inquiries, and fostering a positive relationship with clients. Duties

  • Invoice motor club customers on their portals and complete customer credit card charges.
  • Maintain personal appearance in compliance with company standards.
  • Provide consistent on-time attendance at the office.
  • Categorize expenses and income in Quickbooks and align receipts with expenses.
  • Provide towing dispatch service in a professional, respectful, and timely manner, which includes managing logistics using Towbook software.
  • Verify credit card and cash payments on all tow service jobs and follow-up with customers on any unpaid services. Request payment on motor club portals based on job information on Towbook.
  • Send text messages to customers requesting Google reviews via the marketing agency software.
  • Monitor and report truck and equipment maintenance status/requirements on a weekly basis with drivers and update maintenance records.
  • Utilize GPS tools to enhance route planning and efficiency in service delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a customer service management role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with freight operations and transportation management systems is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience in fleet management is a plus, along with proficiency in GIS applications related to logistics.
  • Demonstrate respectful customer service attitude and ability to manage multiple dispatches at the same time. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity.
  • Associates degree or higher level degree is required.
  • Applicants must have at least 7 years of non-criminal background with no pending cases and no violent background. Criminal background check required for employment.
  • Proficiency using the internet, Word, and Excel, and able to learn new programs. Experience with printers, scanners, and Quickbook receipt entries would be a plus.
  • Demonstrate English literacy, legible writing skills, basic math ability, and attention to detail.
  • Possess Iphone or Android for tow dispatches and communication.
  • Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and a vehicle to get to and from work, as well as make deliveries or pickups as occasionally required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.10 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
